Science-tetrahydrocannabinol(marijuana)

Theres really no way of making a page about illegal(in some places) substance without losing a few audience or without getting a few bad comments, but the people must be informed. This is a plant that is being legalized either for recreational use which is just for the fun of it, or its being legalized for medicinal purpose.
Ill be trying to explain how it works in general, how to consume it, and how to overdose on it.

THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY

The ability to get you that "high"effects comes from its ability to bind to the cannabinoid receptors in your brain. Don't go off thinking that these receptors in your brain are meant to be stimulated or used by cannabis...because they are not. They are receptors located on neurons that are activated by some chemicals called neurotransmitters which allow neurons to communicate with each other. These receptors can be found in all areas of the brain like areas responsible for thinking, pleasure and well, you get it.

Normally these receptors are not activated by cannabis, because well....you aren't supposed to be smoking that but anyways.....they are activated by a chemical called anandomide, that neurotransmitter plays a role of short term connection between nerve cells. Its also responsible for the brains ability to forget things(i dont know why that is useful but blame the brain not me), it also seems to be helpful(not so helpful for some people) with our eating behavior as well as generating the sensation of pleasure.

What THC(chemical found in cannabis) does is it mimics anandomide and thus its able to bind to cannabinoid receptors and interfere with your brain(basically interrupts communication with neurons) .

Consuming THC can be seen as fairly easy, there's actually many ways to do so. Like bongs, joints, vaporizer, and even tea.
The tea is made with the marijuana flower.

I will not be posting any more on this topic if no one requests me to, questions are all accepted and will be answered as fast as i can.
